PIMCO Hires Patrick Beuret as Head of Switzerland

Mr. Beuret will be responsible for further developing strategic growth opportunities in the Swiss wealth management and institutional markets.

 

Zurich (29 April, 2019) – PIMCO, one of the world’s premier fixed income investment firms, has hired Patrick Beuret as Executive Vice President and Head of Switzerland. Mr. Beuret will lead PIMCO’s Swiss client management team and will be responsible for further developing strategic growth opportunities in the Swiss market across channels.

Mr. Beuret will be based in PIMCO’s Zurich office and will report to Ryan Blute, Managing Director and Head of PIMCO’s Global Wealth Management business in EMEA and Frank Witt, Managing Director and Head of PIMCO’s business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux and the Nordics. Mr. Witt said: “Patrick brings to PIMCO extensive experience and expertise across the industry and Swiss market which will be key to the further expansion of PIMCO’s large and important business with Swiss clients.”

Mr. Beuret has spent more than 20 years working with leading investors in Switzerland and abroad, most recently as a Managing Director and Country Head of Switzerland at J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Mr. Beuret said: “I am truly excited to join PIMCO and to work with the Swiss team on the continued long term success in the wealth management and institutional markets in Switzerland.”

PIMCO’s Swiss business has grown substantially in recent years as Swiss investors accessed the firm’s broad range of global and European solutions. Globally, PIMCO has hired more than 1000 new employees since 2017, including more than 200 investment professionals.

Professional Bio
Mr. Beuret is an Executive Vice President and Head of Switzerland at PIMCO, based in the Zurich office. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2019, Mr. Beuret was a Managing Director and Country Head of Switzerland at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, based in Zurich. Before that, he was a partner at Bellevue Asset Management and Head of International Clients at Julius Baer. He has 21 years of investment experience and holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Zurich.
